Employment Lawyer – Dublin

About the role

Join ALG's leading Employment Practice Group in Dublin as an Employment Lawyer. You will work alongside senior counsel, HR and ER teams, providing advice to Ireland’s largest employers on a full range of HR and industrial relations matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise employers, in‑house counsel, HR and ER departments on HR, industrial relations and employment law issues.
• Assist with both contentious and non‑contentious matters, including crisis management.
• Develop pragmatic, commercial solutions to complex HR challenges.
• Contribute to client seminars, conferences and workshops as a presenter.
• Collaborate with senior management and corporate boards on strategic HR initiatives.

Required profile

• Approximately 2 years of post‑qualification experience in a large, medium or boutique corporate law firm.
• Self‑motivated and outcome‑focused.
• Collaborative team player able to thrive in a dynamic, intellectually rigorous environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a desire to present at client seminars, conferences and workshops.
• Keen interest in legal knowledge, learning and development, and business development initiatives.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically, driving innovation and change.
• Capability to establish credibility, engage with and influence senior individuals and diverse teams.
• Enthusiasm and a desire to make an impact.
