Energy Engineer – ISO 50001 & Digital Energy Management

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Energy Engineer to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our ISO 50001 Energy Management System. Based onsite in Grangecastle, Clondalkin, you will combine traditional utilities engineering with modern digital tools to optimise energy performance across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Support the rollout and ongoing enhancement of the ISO 50001 EMS.
• Monitor Energy Performance Indicators (EnPIs) and ensure they meet targets.
• Assist with internal and external ISO 50001 audits.
• Identify and deliver energy‑saving and decarbonisation projects.
• Operate and optimise site utilities (steam, compressed air, chilled water, HVAC).
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning, including business case development.
• Create and maintain energy dashboards using Power BI, Tableau or similar.
• Extract, clean and analyse data from SCADA/BMS/EMS systems and integrate smart‑metering/IoT devices.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy or Chemical Engineering.
• 3‑7+ years of experience in energy management or utilities engineering.
• Proven experience with ISO 50001 or similar management systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication and documentation skills.
