Engineering Technician 2 (Weekend Day Shift)

About the role

Dexcom is seeking an Engineering Technician 2 to provide technical support for custom automated equipment used in the scale‑up of manufacturing for existing and new products. The position works on a weekend day shift schedule, supporting equipment engineers, cross‑functional deployment teams, and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with improvement, installation, validation, and transfer of replicate custom automated equipment.
• Perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, and written plans.
• Test performance of electro‑mechanical assemblies and record results.
• Operate, test, and maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers to meet equipment specifications and timelines.
• Prepare written documentation of test outcomes and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical skills for test result analysis and documentation.
