Equipment Maintenance Technician – Medical Device

About the role

Solventum is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to support production equipment in a medical‑device manufacturing environment. You will ensure that automated electro‑mechanical systems run reliably, contributing to high‑quality healthcare products.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and troubleshoot failures of automated electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance using PEMAC procedures.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date maintenance documentation.
• Proactively support production performance targets and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Assist engineering projects and lead maintenance‑related actions.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Required profile

• Certificate/Diploma or Senior Trades qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar technical role within the medical‑device or comparable industry.
• Hands‑on mechanical experience in an automated manufacturing setting.
