External Design Consultant – German Market Localization

About the role

We are seeking an External Design Consultant to adapt and localise Novartis’ global marketing assets for the German market. Working through Magnit Global, you will collaborate with international brand, marketing and content teams to ensure all visual materials meet local relevance while staying true to global brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt and localise global design assets for digital and print channels targeting the German market.
• Work from existing global master files, adjusting layouts, copy, imagery and formats to meet local requirements.
• Create and update design materials in Figma, maintaining consistency with global design systems and brand guidelines.
• Edit and prepare visual assets using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Support asset preparation, upload and version management in Shaman Go.
• Collaborate with marketing, medical, regulatory and brand stakeholders across regions.
• Ensure all materials comply with corporate brand standards, accessibility principles and German regulatory requirements.
• Manage multiple localisation requests and tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Review final assets for visual quality, formatting accuracy and language layout consistency.
• Provide recommendations to improve workflow efficiency and asset consistency across markets.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a graphic, digital or localisation designer, preferably in an international or corporate setting.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, design systems, templates and collaborative workflows.
• Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with Shaman Go or a similar content‑management and localisation platform is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of design adaptation and localisation processes.
