Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician (Mechanical/Electrical) to join a client’s team in Dublin. The role involves supporting the safe and efficient operation of plant, equipment and site services across an industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, repairs and fault finding on plant and equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC‑controlled machinery and facility systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks and keep maintenance records up to date.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives while upholding high safety standards.

Required profile

• Relevant mechanical or electrical trade qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing or logistics setting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.
• Willingness to participate in an on‑call roster of one week per month.
