Field Service Engineer – Electrical & Training

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer with an electrical background to join a leading commercial catering, laundry and refrigeration company in Northern Ireland. The role involves servicing a range of equipment across a regional patch, working Monday‑Friday 8:30‑17:00 with an on‑call rota paid at double rate.

Key responsibilities

• Service and maintain commercial catering, laundry and refrigeration equipment at multiple client sites.
• Respond to on‑call emergencies (1 in 8 weeks) and ensure rapid resolution.
• Perform routine inspections, fault diagnosis and corrective repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and comply with health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Field Service Engineer or similar role.
• Strong electrical background.
• Willingness to undertake a 1‑in‑8‑week on‑call schedule.

Required skills

• Electrical troubleshooting.
• Maintenance of commercial catering equipment.
• Maintenance of laundry equipment.
• Maintenance of refrigeration systems.
