Field Service Engineer – Heat Pumps

About the role

Join a global leader in heating and air‑conditioning technology as a Field Service Engineer focused on heat‑pump systems. You will work across Ireland delivering hands‑on technical support, commissioning, training and quality assurance for advanced air‑to‑air and air‑to‑water heat‑pump installations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support for air‑to‑air and air‑to‑water heat‑pump units.
• Perform servicing, maintenance, commissioning, retrofits and refurbishments on heat‑pump and HVAC equipment.
• Develop and support an installer network through on‑site technical guidance.
• Deliver technical training sessions to installers and contractors.
• Investigate technical issues, propose effective solutions and produce detailed reports.
• Collaborate with management and manufacturing teams to resolve product and installation challenges.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and service‑excellence programmes.

Required profile

• Engineering background in heating, HVAC, air‑conditioning or heat‑pump systems.
• F‑Gas certification.
• Proven experience in servicing, commissioning and fault‑finding on heat‑pump or HVAC installations.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to deliver technical training.
• Proactive, solution‑focused attitude and ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
