Finance and Strategy Analyst

About the role

Stripe is looking for a Finance and Strategy Analyst to join its Finance and Strategy team in Dublin. The analyst will support forecasting, budgeting and reporting for multiple departments, partnering with business leaders and engineers to improve financial systems and drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with business leaders to influence outcomes and strategic projects.
• Build and maintain integrated financial models and dashboards.
• Drive finance processes such as budgeting, forecasting, monthly reviews and long‑range planning.
• Measure efficiency and ROI of headcount and non‑headcount investments.
• Develop reporting dashboards in collaboration with Data Science.
• Continuously improve and standardise finance reporting and processes.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in strategic finance or FP&A.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience building financial models from scratch.
• Proven track record of executing finance processes (budget cycles, forecasts, negotiations).
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with cross‑functional partners.
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.

Required skills

• Excel (or equivalent planning tools).
