Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for a commercially focused and proactive Finance Business Partner to join our client’s finance team. In this role you will act as a trusted advisor, bridging finance and the wider business to drive performance, support decision‑making and deliver strategic insights.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with department heads and senior management to provide financial guidance and support.
• Deliver insightful financial analysis, reporting and performance commentary.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Monitor key performance indicators, identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Challenge and influence business decisions through data‑driven recommendations.
• Develop financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives.
• Ensure financial controls and governance processes are maintained.
• Present financial information clearly to both financial and non‑financial stakeholders.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management abilities.
• Confidence to constructively challenge and influence decision‑makers.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
