Finance Director – Lead Finance Function in Dublin

About the role

As Finance Director / Head of Finance for KAST’s Irish operations, you will lead the finance function in Dublin, shaping financial strategy, reporting and governance while supporting rapid growth of a global fintech business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function for KAST Ireland, ensuring strong financial controls, reporting and governance.
• Own financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and provide strategic decision support to senior leadership.
• Oversee regulatory capital, financial reporting and compliance in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage statutory reporting and preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Partner with auditors, regulators, banking partners and advisors as required.
• Support treasury, liquidity management and financial operations across a global fintech environment.
• Build scalable finance processes and systems to support company growth.
• Deliver financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 7+ years of senior corporate accounting experience, preferably from a Big 4 audit background.
• Senior management experience within a regulated European fintech, EMI or digital‑asset provider.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and a valid CA, ACA or CPA qualification.
• Proven track record navigating Central Bank of Ireland or UK FCA supervisory assessments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, low‑bureaucracy environment.
