Finance Manager – Global P2P Accounts Payable

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead our global Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) Accounts Payable function. Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, you will drive operational excellence, financial controls and service delivery across invoice processing, supplier payments, expenses and related activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global AP delivery, ensuring accurate, efficient processing of invoices, supplier payments, expense claims and credit‑card transactions.
• Manage the AP Operations Delivery team, overseeing day‑to‑day execution, KPI performance, issue resolution and service quality.
• Oversee global process owners for AP, Expenses, Hire and Travel, establishing clear ownership, standards and improvement plans.
• Monitor performance metrics such as aged items, backlogs, blocked invoices and payment timeliness, and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Procurement to align PO, invoice matching, supplier onboarding and query resolution.

Required profile

• Strong AP/P2P management experience in a complex, multi‑entity or shared‑services environment.
• Proven ability to manage operational KPIs, service levels, payment performance and escalations.
• Extensive knowledge of AP controls, segregation of duties, audit requirements and compliance.
• Experience leading on‑shore and off‑shore teams and working closely with Procurement.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with AP/P2P systems such as Basware, SAP Business One, OCR tools, SharePoint, expense systems, banking portals and workflow/query management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving and change‑management capabilities.
