Financial Accountant – 15‑month contract – Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join our finance team on a 15‑month contract. The role is hybrid, with one day per week in the Dublin office, and offers the opportunity to work across a range of accounting and reporting activities within an international group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end audit files and statutory accounts.
• Produce monthly management accounts.
• Report group financials to the parent company.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Conduct sales reporting and analysis.
• Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Support external audit processes and respond to auditor queries.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
• Self‑starter capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
