Financial Accountant - Flexible Hours

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Dublin team on a flexible, part‑time basis. The role combines hybrid working with a family‑friendly schedule, allowing you to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments while contributing to our asset‑management business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review management accounts and financial statements for the business and its funds.
• Ensure accurate general ledger postings and high‑quality financial reporting.
• Reconcile accounts, monitor cash flows, and support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Liaise with auditors, external service providers, and oversee the outsourced fund‑accounting team.
• Produce board reports, assist with regulatory and tax filings, and drive process improvements within finance.

Required profile

• Strong finance and accounting knowledge, including preparation and analysis of financial statements.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
• Experience in financial services or asset management is advantageous.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication, capable of presenting financial information to non‑finance colleagues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with reporting automation or data‑visualisation tools.
