Financial Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our expanding accounting and financial control team within a fast‑growing tech company. The role will support two business units – vehicle tracking and monitoring, and medical imaging – and offers strong opportunities for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and timely management reporting.
• Prepare statutory reports and annual financial statements for entities in Ireland and the UK under local GAAP or IFRS.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, managing the audit from start to finish and addressing queries.
• Handle tax compliance responsibilities, such as corporation tax, VAT returns and other Irish filings, working with external tax advisors as needed.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Professional accounting qualification highly desirable.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Based near the Dublin 18 office location.
