Financial Accountant (PLC) – Waterford

About the role
TOM People are partnering with a well‑established public limited company in Waterford to recruit a Financial Accountant. The role sits within a growing finance team and provides exposure to financial reporting, compliance and people management in a supportive, high‑calibre environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Complete profit and loss and balance sheet reviews with supporting analysis.
- Manage reconciliations and reporting across multiple entities and currencies.
- Liaise with internal teams and external auditors.
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end and audit processes.
- Assist in process improvements and finance projects.
Required profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 0‑2 years post‑qualification experience.
- Keen analytical mind and strong attention to detail.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Strong Excel proficiency; SAP experience is advantageous.
