Financial Analyst – SG&A

About the role

Join Glanbia Health & Nutrition's Global Finance team as a Finance Analyst focused on SG&A. You will help analyse, report and plan SG&A expenses, providing insight that drives strategic decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and understand SG&A expenses, including people costs, G&A, inter‑company recharges and other items.
• Support SG&A financial planning throughout the year, collaborating with finance and business stakeholders.
• Assist month‑end close by reviewing actual versus planned expenses, investigating variances and documenting findings.
• Review invoices and expense entries to ensure correct coding, period, and cost centre allocation.
• Liaise with other Glanbia functions to understand recharges and allocations, and report on these costs.
• Prepare cost‑center reporting and help stakeholders interpret actuals versus plan and prior year.
• Create clear, insightful presentations and monthly analytics on operating expense performance.
• Contribute to improving systems and processes around SG&A expense management.
• Support ad‑hoc projects for the CFO, executive teams and Group finance.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with 1‑2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Self‑starter with an inquisitive mindset and strong ownership.
• Accurate, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships across cross‑functional teams.
