Financial Controller / Finance Director

About the role

This senior finance position sits at the heart of a fast‑growing, owner‑led commercial real estate firm in Dublin. Working directly with the Managing Director and CFO, you will drive financial strategy for new acquisitions, portfolio management, and business scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end finance function across the portfolio, including SPVs, holding structures and property‑level entities.
• Support acquisition teams with financial modelling, structuring and execution of deals.
• Manage treasury, debt facilities and relationships with lenders.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management at both asset and portfolio levels.
• Monitor portfolio performance metrics such as yields, IRR, returns and covenant compliance.
• Oversee a lean internal finance team and coordinate multiple external advisors.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with approximately 10 years post‑qualification experience.
• Background in real‑estate investment, private‑equity real estate, funds, SPVs or investment management.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence deal decisions.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to develop a small finance team.
