About the role
We are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to lead the organisation’s budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes. The role will provide strategic insight and financial guidance to support the Commission’s financial strategy and objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Support the annual budgeting process, collaborating with stakeholders to develop detailed, strategic budgets.
- Maintain and update rolling forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate financial outlooks.
- Develop and maintain financial models that aid planning and decision‑making.
- Analyse monthly results, variances and produce executive summaries with actionable insights.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, recommending mitigation actions.
- Partner with business units to prepare business cases for key initiatives and projects.
- Manage levy calculation, invoicing, collection and reconciliation processes.
- Continuously improve FP&A tools, processes and systems, and contribute to finance transformation initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting within a public or corporate environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with senior stakeholders and present financial information clearly.
