Financial Regulatory Lawyer

About the role

Join ALG's market‑leading Financial Regulation Advisory team as a Financial Regulatory Lawyer. You will work on cutting‑edge regulatory risk management and compliance projects for top Irish and international financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide client‑centred, commercially driven advice on all aspects of Irish and EU financial services regulation.
• Collaborate with the Regulatory Investigations Group and the M&A Group on domestic and international transactions.
• Support banks, investment firms, non‑bank lenders, e‑money and payment institutions, FinTechs, asset managers, depositaries and fund administrators.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact across the financial services sector.

Required profile

• Newly qualified solicitor up to 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Demonstrated experience or strong knowledge of Irish and/or EU financial regulation.
• A genuine interest in regulatory developments and a desire to build expertise in financial services regulation.
