Financial Regulatory Reporting Manager

About the role

Microsoft is seeking a Financial Regulatory Reporting Manager to lead the preparation and submission of prudential and own‑funds reports to the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI). The role requires strong financial judgment, deep knowledge of Microsoft Finance, and an advanced understanding of the PSD2 regulatory framework.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end regulatory reporting process for CBI, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
• Maintain the regulatory reporting calendar and coordinate inputs from Finance, Treasury, Safeguarding and Operations.
• Align statutory financial statements, management accounts and regulatory submissions.
• Calculate and monitor own‑funds requirements, capital ratios and provide forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Oversee safeguarding‑related reporting, validate client‑fund disclosures and support regulatory queries.
• Ensure data integrity by reconciling regulatory outputs to the general ledger and source systems.
• Develop and maintain reporting methodologies, policies and documentation.
• Design a robust controls framework and engage proactively with regulators, auditors and board forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in regulatory reporting, capital adequacy monitoring and safeguarding compliance.
