Folding/Setting Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Folding/Setting Operator to join our manufacturing team in Castlebar. The role works on a rotating 2‑cycle shift pattern and supports the production of high‑quality labels for global brands.

Key responsibilities

• Operate various format folding machines safely and efficiently.
• Perform machine change‑overs and basic troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Work with different glue systems across machines to ensure proper adhesion.
• Follow safety procedures and quality SOPs to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and basic numeracy.
• Effective communication skills and good written/oral English.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions.
• Team‑oriented attitude in a fast‑paced environment.
