About the role

The Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney is looking for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistant to join the Fiadh Restaurant team. This full‑time position offers the chance to work in a vibrant hotel environment, serving guests in buffet, table and bar settings while gaining valuable hospitality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service to guests across buffet, table and bar areas.
• Engage warmly with guests, offering local knowledge and personalised recommendations.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth service throughout each shift.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to meet and exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organised work environment and adhere to health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food and beverage service within a hotel or restaurant.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for guest service.
• Strong team player who can also take initiative when needed.
• Flexible and dependable, especially during busy periods.
• Availability for a 7‑day rota, including weekends and holidays.

• No specific technical skills required.
