Food & Beverage Assistant – Michelin‑Star Fine Dining

About the role

Adare Manor is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join the team at The Oak Room, its Michelin‑starred fine‑dining restaurant. You will help deliver an elegant seasonal tasting menu experience that showcases the finest Irish ingredients, working under Head Chef Michael Tweedie.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised, Michelin‑star level service to guests throughout the dining experience.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menus, ingredient provenance and beverage pairings, guiding guests confidently.
• Execute precise service sequences, maintaining timing, consistency and attention to detail.
• Maintain immaculate table settings, mise en place and overall dining‑room presentation.
• Anticipate guest needs discreetly and professionally.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure seamless service.
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, organisation and service etiquette.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fine‑dining or luxury hospitality is highly desirable.
• Passion for Michelin‑level service, food and wine.
• Strong communication skills with a warm yet refined guest approach.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Team‑oriented, proactive and able to perform under pressure.
• Professional demeanor, poise and discretion.
• Flexibility to adapt to the demands of a high‑end dining environment.
