Food Formulation & Applications Scientist

About the role

Biovit is seeking a Food Formulation & Applications Scientist to bridge the gap between cutting‑edge ingredient technologies and real‑world food, beverage, and supplement products. You will evaluate how our bioavailable actives perform in formats such as RTD drinks, functional gummies, powders, and bars.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate Biovit actives into targeted food, beverage, and supplement matrices.
• Design and execute structured formulation trials, assessing compatibility, stability, and performance.
• Subject ingredients to pH swings, heat, osmotic stress, and interactions with electrolytes, sugars, sweeteners, and acids.
• Troubleshoot stability failures, sensory issues, and processing incompatibilities, delivering practical solutions.
• Develop and maintain detailed testing protocols, product specifications, and critical quality parameters.
• Define stability and shelf‑life validation requirements for each product format and market.
• Document lab work, produce technical reports, and contribute to regulatory dossiers and IP filings.
• Create proof‑of‑concept prototypes for pilot trials and client collaborations.

Required profile

• Strong background in food science, formulation, or related R&D discipline.
• Experience working with functional ingredients in diverse product formats.
• Ability to design experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings clearly.
