Founding Design Engineer (AI Decision‑Support Platform)

About the role

We are building the most advanced AI‑powered decision‑support platform for the food processing industry and need a founding Design Engineer to own both the look and feel and the frontend code. You will translate complex forecasting models into clear, interactive interfaces used by plant operators and commercial teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the full UX process from research and rapid prototyping to production, delivering a highly interactive B2B SaaS application.
• Transform dense forecasting outputs into intuitive visual modules such as time‑series charts, heat maps and dashboards.
• Design and implement the frontend for a conversational AI layer, handling non‑deterministic outputs and streaming responses via Server‑Sent Events.
• Integrate client‑side security using Supabase and enforce Row Level Security in every build.
• Track usage with PostHog, analyse engagement data and iterate rapidly based on evidence.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping complex B2B SaaS products.
• Strong command of Figma and modern frontend technologies.
• Comfort working with large, complex datasets and visualising mathematical models.
• Hands‑on experience building interfaces for LLM‑powered systems.
• Bias toward action and success in fast‑moving, zero‑to‑one environments.
