Freight Forwarder – Healthcare Logistics

About the role

As a Freight Forwarder focused on healthcare logistics, you will ensure that life‑critical products move safely and on time across the supply chain. You will work with a variety of shipment types, including temperature‑controlled loads, to support DSV’s growing logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily shipments (groupage, LTL, FTL) with a focus on healthcare logistics.
• Maintain product integrity for cold‑chain shipments (2–8°C, ambient, frozen) and apply Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.
• Use validated packaging and temperature‑monitoring solutions, and monitor shipments via tracking systems.
• Respond proactively to risks or delays, manage deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, billing, and file closure while keeping precise digital records for audit and compliance.
• Liaise with carriers, subcontractors, and internal teams to guarantee reliable service delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain (essential).
• Exposure to healthcare or pharmaceutical logistics is advantageous.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and stakeholder management abilities.
• High accuracy and attention to detail, especially in compliance documentation.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a strong sense of responsibility.

Required skills

• Transport Management System (TMS) proficiency.
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) proficiency.
• Experience with shipment tracking tools.
• Knowledge of temperature‑monitoring solutions for cold‑chain logistics.
