Fresh Meat Assistant

About the role
The Fresh Meat Assistant will support the Meat Department in delivering high‑quality products and excellent service to customers at our Arden Road store. You will work as part of a fast‑paced team, helping to keep the department clean, well‑stocked and compliant with safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain retail cuts to a high standard, meeting customer needs.
- Drive sales by following SOPs and store standards daily.
- Merchandise and present the department according to planograms.
- Control stock rotation to ensure freshness and quality.
- Manage waste and shrinkage.
- Stay up‑to‑date with new products and initiatives.
- Share product knowledge and ideas with the team.
Required profile
- Excellent communication and numerical skills.
- Customer‑focused with a passion for food.
- Ability to work in a team, multitask under pressure.
- No prior experience required – full training provided.
