Front-End Developer (Design System & Product UI)

About the role

Analog Devices is looking for a skilled Front-End Developer to join the Software Product Experience team in Limerick. You will help shape the user experience of CodeFusion Studio, an embedded software development platform built on Microsoft Visual Studio Code, by owning and evolving its design system.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a scalable, reusable component library using React and TypeScript (≈80% of time).
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to turn design patterns into accessible components.
• Document components and usage guidelines with Storybook.
• Implement automated testing for components using Playwright or similar tools.
• Establish best practices for versioning, theming, and extensibility of the design system.
• Contribute to front‑end development of CodeFusion Studio, integrating design‑system components into product features (≈20% of time).
• Participate in code reviews and work in an agile, cross‑functional environment.

Required profile

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to create reusable, accessible UI components.
• Familiarity with design‑system workflows and documentation tools.
• Experience working in agile teams and conducting code reviews.
