Front Office Crew

About the role

As a Front Office Crew member at Generator Dublin you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring every stay is memorable. You will help create the distinctive Generator experience by delivering personalised service and maintaining the vibrant social spaces of the hostel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete guest journey from check‑in to check‑out, handling reservations and cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor and adjust lighting, sound, temperature and overall ambience of public areas to reflect the brand standards.
• Maintain the hostel’s social spaces, café and bar, ensuring they are clean, welcoming and operational.
• Provide local recommendations on cafés, bars, restaurants, arts and music to enhance guests’ Dublin experience.
• Execute closing shift procedures, including cash reconciliation and reporting, with 100 % accuracy.
• Adhere to all company policies, fire safety, health & safety and food hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and the youth‑travel market.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Enthusiastic, outgoing personality with a genuine love for guests.
• Eligibility to work in the EU.

Required skills

• Experience working in a front‑office hospitality environment.
• Proficiency with a Property Management System (PMS) for reservations and billing.
