Fuel Card Accountant – Norway

About the role

The Fuel Card Accountant – Norway will manage, monitor and reconcile fuel card transactions for the Norwegian market while supporting commercial and operations teams with financial insights. Based in Drogheda with hybrid working, the role ensures accurate billing, pricing updates and compliance across the fuel card business.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly customer billing cycles and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Maintain and update customer pricing agreements, discounts and rebates.
• Perform regular reconciliations to verify that all transactions are captured and billed correctly.
• Handle billing queries from customers, commercial and operations teams.
• Collaborate with Treasury to allocate bank receipts and with Credit Control to enforce credit limits.
• Lead ERP development projects in partnership with the SAP support team.
• Support risk management, compliance activities and liaise with external auditors.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and support to the Head of Finance Operations.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified accountant with relevant industry experience.
• 4–5 years of experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume transaction environment.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, self‑motivated and able to manage changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, can‑do attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (data analysis, complex functions).
• Experience with SAP or a comparable large ERP system.
