Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join a fast‑growing technology company building an advanced forecasting platform for the food‑processing sector. The role is based in Dublin city centre and involves occasional travel to the EU and US.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build modern web applications and contribute across the full technology stack.
• Develop and improve cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines and engineering tooling.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists and product teams to deliver new features.
• Ensure applications are reliable, secure and maintainable for a growing customer base.
• Optimise performance, scalability and system reliability.
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and CI/CD activities.

Required profile

• Commercial experience developing full‑stack applications using Python.
• Strong understanding of backend development, RESTful APIs and modern web architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure) and relational databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and version control in production.
• Ability to design, build, deploy and support reliable software solutions.
• Willingness to work across both frontend and backend where value is greatest.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Exposure to IaC, containerisation, observability, authentication or MLOps is a plus.
