Full Stack Engineer – Java & Cloud (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our agile team in Dublin, delivering innovative financial services applications in a cloud‑first environment. The role combines Java backend development with modern cloud and container technologies, offering a hybrid work setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Build and expose RESTful APIs and interact with Oracle databases.
• Work with Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS (EKS) to create resilient, cloud‑native services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality software delivery.
• Participate in system design, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins).
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in security and availability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle, Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS (EKS).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, and Agile development.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins.
• Experience with test automation frameworks like Cucumber or Selenium.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

What we offer

• Up to €320 per day rate.
