Full-time Accommodation & Laundry Assistant

About the role

The Accommodation & Laundry Assistant will ensure the hotel’s rooms, public areas and laundry facilities are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the academic year. This full‑time position involves daily cleaning, linen handling and guest interaction in a professional hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned rooms, corridors, bathrooms and public areas to the hotel’s approved standards.
• Wash, dry and iron hotel linen, ensuring all items meet quality requirements.
• Report and hand in any lost property and immediately notify management of any theft.
• Follow the customer relations policy, respecting guest privacy and belongings.
• Communicate hotel services and facilities to guests when required.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by management related to accommodation services and cleaning projects.

Required profile

• Full‑time availability, including mid‑week and weekends, for the entire academic year.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Own transport or reliable daily commuting ability.
• Legal permission to work and reside in Ireland.
