Full-time Kitchen Porter – Daytime Hours

About the role

Gourmet Food Parlour is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic kitchen porter to join our Malahide restaurant. This full‑time position involves maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment during daytime shifts, with occasional weekend coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Wash crockery, utensils and kitchenware.
• Perform daily cleaning of kitchen areas and deep cleaning of equipment.
• Keep store and waste areas neat, tidy and properly disposed of.
• Support deliveries and assist the Head Chef with porter duties.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and store safety policies.
• Undertake additional tasks as required.

Required profile

• Team player who remains calm under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Adherence to dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Valid work permit or visa for Ireland.
