Full‑Time Deli Assistant

About the role

Corrib Oil is seeking a full‑time Deli Assistant to work at its service station in Westport, Co. Mayo. You will prepare and serve high‑quality food, support kitchen operations and deliver excellent customer service in a fast‑moving retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high‑quality food efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Manage daily kitchen operations, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and chilled products, under the Deli Manager’s direction.
• Maintain stock levels and portion control.
• Ensure the work area and facilities are clean and comply with HACCP legislation.
• Prioritise customer care and actively promote the Corrib Oil Customer Loyalty Programme.
• Carry out deli checks as trained and maintain standards.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, Monday through Sunday.

Required profile

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong focus on customer service and ability to promote loyalty programmes.
• Understanding of food safety standards (HACCP) and ability to maintain a clean work environment.
• Basic stock‑management and portion‑control skills.
