Full‑Time Lecturer – Business & Technology

About the role

Holmes Institute Dublin is looking for an energetic full‑time lecturer to join its high‑performing teaching team. The role involves delivering business‑ and technology‑focused programmes and contributing to the Institute’s learning and teaching development.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate modules assigned by the Programme Director.
• Deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshops.
• Produce and disseminate learning materials via Blackboard.
• Prepare, set, mark and moderate assessments, providing formative feedback.
• Supervise and assess research projects.
• Monitor student progress and offer academic counselling.
• Participate in academic administration, including programme and examination boards.
• Contribute to module descriptor preparation and programme monitoring.
• Engage in scholarly activity and uphold academic integrity.

Required profile

• Postgraduate or PhD qualification in Business or technology.
• Proven experience as a lecturer or tutor in higher education.
• Experience in programme management within higher education.
• Excellent organisational and analytical abilities.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and education.
• Ability to work independently and manage a team.

Required skills

• Experience using Blackboard for delivering learning materials.
