General Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Address Collective is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead The Address Sligo hotel. Reporting to ownership, you will be the face of the brand, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel departments, conducting regular meetings with Heads of Department.
• Ensure compliance with operating standards, policies, and service protocols.
• Lead capital projects, renovations, and service‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage guest complaints and service recovery processes.
• Develop and achieve targets set in the annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan, and Capital Budget.
• Monitor profit and loss, implement cost‑saving measures, and drive revenue through yield management.
• Prepare financial reports for ownership and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Recruit and mentor senior staff, fostering professional development.
• Maintain safety, legal, fire, and health compliance.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in hotel management with a track record of achieving financial and service goals.
• Strong leadership and decision‑making abilities, capable of guiding multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills and a guest‑centric mindset.
• Flexibility to work on‑site and respond to operational demands at any time.
