General Manager – Ireland Site

About the role

The General Manager will lead Hilton Food Ireland’s site, driving sustainable performance and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality food products to customers. Reporting to the Managing Director UK & Ireland, this senior leader will shape the site’s culture, safety standards, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Act as daily site leader and deputy to the Managing Director, aligning internal departments and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure safe ways of working, embedding safety and wellbeing into the site culture.
• Oversee production, planning and delivery to meet specifications, cost targets and service levels using the Fit for the Future operating model.
• Drive continuous improvement programmes and optimise overhead spend.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to meet current and future customer requirements.
• Contribute to the UK & Ireland management team’s annual operating plan and business strategy.
• Maintain compliance with local regulations, CSR initiatives, and audit requirements.
• Manage CAPEX, asset management and work with engineering and automation teams.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in food manufacturing or related industrial environments.
• Strong track record of delivering operational excellence, safety, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Ability to influence and engage cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Experience in strategic planning and execution of annual operating plans.
