General Operative – Night Shift (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking dedicated General Operatives to work the night shift at our Value Centre on Little Island, Cork. This permanent full‑time position involves supporting the depot’s daily flow by keeping shelves stocked, presenting merchandise and assembling orders for customers. Operatives will work alongside a team to maintain high standards of service and safety throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Replenish stock levels across the depot, ensure merchandise is correctly displayed and assemble customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to customer queries and provide assistance in a courteous and professional manner.
• Adhere to all food safety, health & safety and security protocols, actively participating in required checks and trainings.
• Carry out housekeeping duties, including cleaning work areas and maintaining a tidy environment to support safe operations.

Required profile

• Able to work safely in ambient, chilled and freezer zones within the depot, handling products at various temperatures.
• Motivated, enthusiastic and flexible, with a strong dedication to completing tasks during night hours.
• Team‑oriented with the ability to take initiative and work independently when required.
