General Operative (Seasonal Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Join Lir Chocolates for the 2026‑2027 seasonal production period as a General Operative. You will work on a modern chocolate manufacturing line, either in production or packing, ensuring high‑quality output while following strict food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production line machinery safely and efficiently (full training provided).
• Pack, weigh and label chocolate products to company specifications.
• Monitor product quality and report any defects promptly.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and organised work area.
• Follow all food‑safety and hygiene regulations.
• Carry out routine cleaning of equipment and production areas.
• Assist with loading, unloading and moving stock as required.
• Accurately complete production and quality records.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily output targets.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, proactive attitude and reliable work ethic.
• Good verbal, written and reading communication skills.
• Punctual, hardworking and committed to meeting targets.
