General Practitioner (GP) – Full‑time/Part‑time

About the role

Newcastle Medical Centre is looking for an experienced General Practitioner to join its expanding team. The role offers the flexibility of full‑time or part‑time work within a modern, well‑equipped primary care setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality primary care to a diverse patient population.
• Manage and develop a personal patient list, including GMS (Medical Card) patients where applicable.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses and administrative staff.
• Participate in chronic disease management, women’s health, minor surgery, and teaching activities as appropriate.

Required profile

• Registered with the Irish Medical Council.
• Specialist registration in General Practice (MICGP or equivalent) preferred.
• Previous experience in Irish general practice.
• Strong clinical, communication and decision‑making abilities.
