GEO Supply Chain Operations Associate

About the role

The GEO Supply Chain Operations Associate joins BioMarin’s Global External Supply Chain Operations team to support external Contract Manufacturing Operations (CMO) for clinical drug products. The role coordinates starting material, drug product and finished‑goods supply between CMOs and internal teams, ensuring all supply needs are defined and met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ERP aspects related to production efforts at CMOs.
• Monitor and control inventory levels of drug substance, drug product, finished goods and components at CMO sites.
• Generate and coordinate purchase orders and invoices.
• Handle shipment documentation, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and manage bulk packs and samples.
• Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation and serve as the primary point of contact for inventory audits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Supply Chain, Quality, MSAT and the CMO to align activities.

Required profile

• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and coordinate activities across Supply Chain, Quality, MSAT and external CMOs.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple inventory and shipment processes.
