Global Mobility & Tax Specialist

About the role

The Global Mobility & Tax Specialist will join the finance & tax team of a leading European data centre delivery partner. Reporting to the Finance Director and Tax Manager, the role ensures compliant and efficient mobility processes for employees relocating across multiple European jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end global mobility processes for employees relocating across Europe, including pre‑assignment planning, cost projection and documentation.
• Coordinate short‑term, long‑term and permanent international assignments and track frequent business travel.
• Act as primary point of contact for mobile employees, HR and operational stakeholders.
• Support Finance Director and Tax Manager in expatriate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Liaise with external tax advisors to ensure timely filings and obtain foreign tax advice.
• Administer tax equalisation, gross‑ups, social security and validate cost projections.
• Assist in designing expatriate compensation packages and ensure accurate processing of international payroll.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on mobility and tax matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience in global mobility and employment tax within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of cross‑border taxation, payroll withholding and tax equalisation.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and detail‑oriented skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across several European countries.

Required skills

• Knowledge of expatriate tax compliance and local employment tax regulations.
• Familiarity with international compensation and benefits structures.
