Graduate Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer to join Aerogen’s multidisciplinary project teams in Galway. In this fast‑paced medical‑device environment you will support new product development, process improvement, packaging and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support cross‑functional engineering projects from concept through commercial release, delivering quality, service and cost improvements.
• Participate in new product introductions, compliance activities and continuous improvement projects.
• Execute product, process and material changes via design reviews, change control and documentation updates.
• Assist in resolving complex engineering issues together with manufacturing, R&D and quality teams.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance quality, capacity and reduce cost.
• Deliver on individual and departmental performance metrics such as training and Right‑First‑Time targets.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the Manufacturing Project Engineer or Head of Function.

Required profile

• Primary degree (Level 8) in an engineering or technical discipline.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience in the medical‑device or other regulated industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and an analytical approach to problem solving.
• Willingness to travel to vendor or supplier sites as required.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
