Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer (Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Dublin team on a permanent basis. You will support the delivery of cutting‑edge engineering projects across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, data centres and power transmission.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and conduct mechanical engineering and design activities on assigned projects.
• Support mechanical package owners and ensure the design management process is followed.
• Read, understand and promote the Mechanical Safe Systems of Work (MSSW) and the overall EHS plan.
• Prepare pre‑qualification packs and RFQs for design services and equipment, including scope, drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Mark‑up equipment and design service quotes to align with technical submittals and design briefs.
• Develop and maintain procurement and design schedules/tracking tools in collaboration with the project planner.
• Engage with the project documentation workflow: generation, peer review, submission, resubmission and distribution.
• Review and apply the Quality Plan and assist in creating project‑specific Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Willingness to work within a vibrant, multi‑functional team.
• Understanding of EHS and quality procedures as described in project documentation.
