About the role

We are looking for a Graphics Developer Tools Engineer to join Qualcomm’s Adreno GPU Software team in Cork. You will help create next‑generation profiling, performance analysis and debugging tools that enable developers to optimise applications for Snapdragon Adreno GPUs.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop profiling, performance analysis and debugging tool features.
Collaborate with GPU hardware and software teams to validate performance and analyse results.
Debug issues, optimise user experience and work closely with the developer ecosystem, partners and OEMs.
Shape how developers optimise for Snapdragon Adreno GPUs and gain insight into future GPU hardware designs.

Required profile

2+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong programming knowledge in C/C++ or demonstrated proficiency with C#, Rust or Go.
Solid understanding of GPU hardware and graphics concepts.

Game engines: Unity, Unreal Engine
GPU computing: OpenCL, CUDA, SYCL
Graphics profiling and debugging tools: Nsight, PIX, GPA, RenderDoc
Knowledge of ray tracing, mesh shading, work graphs
Image and video processing, data parallelism, machine learning algorithms
