Group Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our Group Financial Control function. In this hybrid role you will oversee financial reporting, treasury, risk and audit across multiple jurisdictions, while managing a high‑performing finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consolidation, review and publication of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and manage accounting policies.
• Monitor KPIs such as Gross Margin, EBITDA, cash flow and working‑capital metrics, driving improvements.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and address audit findings.
• Act as primary liaison with auditors, tax authorities and manage transfer‑pricing compliance.
• Oversee the group risk register, insurance programmes and mitigation plans.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasts, FX risk, DSO/DPO/DIO and bank facility compliance.
• Coach, develop and succession‑plan the finance team.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of senior finance leadership in a commercial environment.
• Strong technical accounting background with deep IFRS knowledge.
• Proven record of delivering process improvements under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for both financial and non‑financial audiences.
• Demonstrated people‑management experience building high‑performing teams.
