Group Financial Controller – South Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead the Group Finance function for a multinational organisation based in South Dublin. The role combines financial control, reporting, treasury management and team leadership in a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation, review and publication of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and manage accounting policies across the group.
• Oversee the financial reporting consolidation system, preferably Oracle FCCS.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as Gross Margin, EBITDA, operating profit, cash flow and working capital.
• Develop and maintain robust internal financial controls and address audit findings.
• Act as primary liaison with auditors, tax authorities and manage transfer‑pricing compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Maintain the organisation’s risk register, develop mitigation plans and manage insurance programmes.
• Drive cash‑flow forecasting, foreign‑exchange risk management and bank facility compliance.
• Inspire, coach and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of senior finance leadership experience in a dynamic commercial environment.
• Strong technical accounting background with deep expertise in IFRS.
• Proven track record of delivering process improvements under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial data to both financial and non‑financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high‑performing teams.
