Group Low Voltage Electrical Instructor

About the role

Mercury is looking for a Group Low Voltage Electrical Instructor to lead the delivery and maintenance of low‑voltage electrical safety training at its Ballycoolin Training & Development Centre. The role sits within the Group Commissioning Support Function and aims to improve project performance through consistent, standardised training processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update Mercury AP training course material and the physical infrastructure at the Ballycoolin Training Centre.
• Manage the Low Voltage Electrical Safe Principles courses for staff and leaders, ensuring content is current and approved by the Group Commissioning Support Manager.
• Evaluate candidates completing the courses and record outcomes.
• Oversee safety, quality, administration, planning and coordination aspects of the training initiative.
• Collaborate with Business Unit Operations leads and Heads of Commissioning to schedule training attendance in line with project responsibilities.
• Travel to mainland Europe as required to support training development and awareness.

• Technical and personable approach to training delivery.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple support functions such as Safety, Quality, Planning and Digital Transformation.
• Willingness to travel internationally for training purposes.
